Graduation Ceremonies

OHSU Commencement: 1:00-2:30, Friday, June 6, 2025

This is a large ceremony for all of OHSU Schools and Colleges, including School of Public Health, held at the Oregon Convention Center. Graduates participate in a processional and sit together during the Commencement speeches given by OHSU leadership.

SPH Hooding: 3:00-5:00, Friday, June 6, 2025

This ceremony for graduating MPH, MS, and PhD students, is specific to the School of Public Health and is held immediately following OHSU Commencement.  Graduating students walk across the stage to receive their diplomas, are recognized by individual name, and are “hooded” by their program director or dissertation chair. Immediately following the Hooding Ceremonies, there will be reception where finger foods and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.

PSU Commencement: 4:00 PM, Saturday, June 14, 2025

This is a ceremony for all SPH students (graduate and undergraduate) and SPH students in all PSU Schools and Colleges.
